Leaving your car with the Auto Transporter

When parting from your vehicle make sure to do some important things. First it is recommended meeting the vehicle shipping company in an area were it will be easy to load your automobile onto the carrier such as a shopping center as well as make note of any damages your car already has.

When the car transport company picks up your car make sure to get a copy of the Original inspection report. This inspection report has important details such as pick up and delivery information, your vehicle current mileage and a list of pre-existing dents, scratches and other issues your vehicle has.

It is recommended to even take pictures of your car before it is loaded on the auto transport truck in case you need to prove any damages that may of occurred during the vehicle shipping process.

Also before your vehicle is loaded onto the carrier make sure your car alarm is disconnected and remove any unmounted items from your car interior such as radios, cd or cassette decks and car phones. Remeber the car transport company is not responsible for stolen possessions.
