Selling your Car or Vehicle Transport

A lot of people own more then one vehicle. When it comes time to relocate to a new place and your faced with the option of shipping a vehicle or selling it, what is better to do. This all comes down to and has a lot to do with retail value of the vehicle and how quickly it will sell to another individual or dealership. Remember most vehicles do not hold there value well.

One route to take would be to sell your vehicle before you move and just purchase a new one or pre owed one when you get to your new destination. Of course there are other factors that come into play such as how soon you are moving as well as it may take time to sell a car. Also shopping for another vehicle takes time as well. 
Quick tip: A fast way to get rid of your car would be to donate it to charity and get a tax deduction. Most junk yards will pay you to take the car away for scrap metal

Other issues to keep in mind if you are moving your vehicle to a new state are safety inspections, emissions testing and new car insurance. Also if you will be relocating to a warm climate state from a snow state you probably will not need that 4x4 truck and selling before you leave may seem like a good idea, but it really comes down to your own personal needs.
